Eleni Simos has joined the AICP team as our new Events Manager (working out of our New York office). Some of you may recongnize Eleni, who has worked with us for the last few years as a freelance event producer working on AICP Week events in New York. Learn a little more about Eleni below, and please feel free to contact her at elenis@aicp.com.
Tell us a little about your background before joining the AICP team:
Before joining the AICP team, I spent the past 15+ years building a career in event production, producing a wide range of events and experiences for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, American Express, the US Open, Google, NBCUniversal and Adobe. I’ve worked to develop a strong foundation in production, operations, logistics, client management, and team collaboration. I’ve always loved the fast-paced, highly collaborative nature of events and the challenge of bringing a vision to life from concept through execution.
What are your goals and hopes for your new position:
My goal is to bring my energy and innovative perspective to the existing events program. I’m excited to continue to grow in an industry I love and build something long lasting, not just to complete projects but to become a trusted and valuable part of the AICP team and legacy.
Do you have any fun-facts or non-professional hobbies you’d like our members to know about:
Alongside my work in production, health and wellness is a meaningful part of my life. I founded CLEANSED, an organic juice and wellness company. Building the business has given me hands-on experience across operations, brand development, sales, and marketing. I’m also a yoga instructor, sound healing practitioner on the weekends and lead wellness experiences centered around movement, mindfulness, and connection.
Anything else you want to include:
I’m excited to bring all these elements together to AICP. I’m naturally energetic, organized, and people-oriented, and I look forward to contributing to the team on a larger scale and bringing a fresh perspective to the events program.
