Hailing from Detroit, Allan Benedict got his start in the music industry on the airwaves of WLUW-FM in Chicago where he led the programming team for four years. After a move to NYC, he took up promotion first at independent marketing agency The Syndicate and later heading US radio marketing efforts for international independent label [PIAS]. Over the course of his promotion career Benedict has been lucky to work with legendary artists ranging from David Bowie to Daft Punk to Violent Femmes culminating with delivering Pixies their highest charting alternative single in 30+ years. Following COVID he moved into the music technology space and has been helping labels, publishers, and artists solve problems and streamline their workflows ever since.
